The Question

I had to write this poem for English classs. I think the topic was something about the Good vs Bad and This is the only thing that came to my mind.

It's amazing

How my wrongs r portrayed as good

How the world takes everything I do bad

And turns it into good

It's amazing

How humans let stuff keep them down without a fight

We know our monster but yet we run to them

Like the stupid white girl on the movies (no offense)

It's amazing

How we cry over the ones we love every night

Because we hate them so much

So amazing

How we overdose or get high every night

Just to escape the stress of life

It's so amazing how my, no our wrongs

Are portrayed as good

How the world turns its back on good

And comfort the evil.

How we hang good and everything that's right in the world on a cross

And sit there and mock, curse, and spit while evil takes over the world.

How we complain about everything

But we never try to make a change because we like the bad that goes on the world

It's amazing

So amazing to me.

How parents don't care if their child is on the 6 o'clock news

Not for helping an old lady cross the street

But for robbing the od lady while others just turned their heads as they walked down the street.

It's amazing

How we listen to the preacher tell us to come out of darkness and enter the marvelous light

But what the preacher does in the dark

He doesn't dare bring to the light.

It's amazing

So amazing

So amazing to me

How God can create a sinner like me.

How he sacrificed His life

And all I do to repay Him is cause Him pain.

It's so amazing to realize

That people run to the bad

Like it's goin out of style

How we curse the good

And praise the evil

We hear people saying

"Well, God made me like this."

Hate to break it to you but He didn't.

He wanted us to be like Him

Perfect in all our ways

But yet we make the good, bad in the world today

Lust, greed, murder

We say we hate these things

But yet we embrace them as though they were our firstborn.

So you ask me, "Why are our wrongs portrayed as good?"

It would be amazing if I could give you a true answer.
